Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Reseach Walk - October 3

As you know, movement is a topic near and dear to my heart. Movement allows us to find ourselves, expression emotions, heal the past and even create the future. However, it is only ONE piece of the mind-body-soul connection. Health care and body wellness are another topic dear to me and I’m asking for your support in a very special cause.

This year, I'll be taking part in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's (JDRF) Walk to Cure Diabetes along with a half-million other walkers across the country. The walk takes place on Saturday, October 3 at Pfiffner Park in Stevens Point. I’ll be volunteering some time both walking and providing movement/bellydance entertainment to walkers and families.
Our goal: To raise $105 million to help fund research for a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications. I’m personally hoping to raise $500 for this worthy cause and your donation of even $5 or $10 can make a bit difference.

More than 85 percent of JDRF’s expenditures directly support research and research-related education!

Please visit my Walk Web page if you would like to donate online or see how close I am to reaching my personal goal: http://walk.jdrf.org/walker.cfm?id=87504194

My heartfelt appreciation and a blessing of movement to you!
