Nayana's Quick Bio

My Photo
the SOUL studio
Movement allows me to appreciate my body and my womanhood. I enjoy the strength it gives to women by dancing in a group - sharing in each others joys, sorrows, accomplishments, and let downs. The dance offers inspiration, hope, joy, and an outlet for my and others' emotions. As of 2011, I have been exploring motion for around ten years (teaching bellydance for four) and have attended workshops with such greats as Kami Liddle, Sharon Kihara, and Stefanie Masters. I am now fortunate enough to share my love of dance through teaching and performing in central Wisconsin. In June 2011, I'll complete my bachelor's degree in Behavior Science to bring me closer to my ultimate goal of being a dance/movement therapist.
